New! Liberty of London Winterbourne
The new Liberty of London Winterbourne collection is a botanical explosion of classic floral prints in that Liberty style that we all love so much. There are thirty one prints in the whole collection with limited half metre & fat quarter bundles available. We've also done a few smaller sets based on the three colourways - Cloud, Berry and Spruce. This collection is printed on Lasenby quilting cotton weight.
Cotton Jacquards
Our new order of Merchant & Mills Cotton Jacquards arrived yesterday and it's just as lovely as ever. What are you planning on making with this amazing fabric? We've seen some great makes as a simple baby blanket with binding, Wiksten Shift Tops (more copies coming soon!), Haori Jackets, Papercut Sapporo Coat, Merchant & Mills Fielder Shirt and Named Esme Cardigan to name a few. Merchant & Mills Woolsey
We are delighted to have a few bolts of Merchant & Mills Woolsey in the shop, this fabric does not disappoint in person. Woolsey is a wool/linen double gauze that has been pre-laundered at the mill to make the softest fabric to ever exist.
This cloth has two layers of linen/wool which are invisibly stitched together. This helps to trap air between the layers, which in turn keeps you very toasty. This fabric is beautiful for dressmaking as well as cushions, throws, curtains and would even make a very cosy scarf.
Ruby Star Society Darlings
The new Ruby Star Society Darlings collection is already a hit and we've just received it! This collection of 32 prints is a compilation of some iconic prints by Melody Miller, Alexia Abegg, Kim Kight, Sarah Watts and Rashida Coleman-Hale. It's been fun to see which ones are your favourites as the bolts start to get thinner. Take advantage of this second chance for these fun prints.
Liberty Summer House
Liberty of London Summer House is a great mix of floral, fruit and architectural patterns. This collection is printed on smooth Lasenby cotton which Liberty specifically designed for quilters but it also supports sewers and crafters of all kinds. We've seen some great garments made with this weight of cotton from past Liberty collection too.
Speckled by Rashida Coleman-Hale
Rashida Coleman-Hale's Speckled is a dreamy new collection from Ruby Star Society that covers the rainbow. If you are ever going to pick up a bundle, this is the one! In addition to the 32 piece full collection, you can also pick your favourite colourway and grab the Twilight, Cream, Pink or Citrus mini bundles.
Merchant & Mills Jacquards
Merchant & Mills Jacquard Cottons are a clear hit! This squishy quilted fabric arrived on Tuesday and was mostly sold out within 24 hours. Did you miss out on this delivery? Wool Felt has been our number one most requested fabric over the years and this week we received our first delivery of fifteen beautiful colours that are available in pre-cut fat quarters, off the bolt or in a fluffy bundle of the whole set.
