The July Repurpose Challenge is an online invitation to reimagine existing pieces and materials you already own. This challenge centres on transformation.

Part of our 2026 Year of Intentional Making, this bi-monthly challenge series is designed to help you slow down, work thoughtfully with what you already have, and reconnect with the joy of making.

What You’ll Receive

+ Three 1-hour Zoom sessions focused on altering, reworking, or combining what you already have into something new, in community Live on:

the workroom is a place for people to make, learn and share.

Sprucedale maker space/shop for fabric, notions, patterns, books, sewing machines, inspiration, and project cheerleading.

We acknowledge and deeply appreciate that the land on which we now live and operate in Sprucedale, within the Almaguin Highlands, is part of the traditional and ancestral territory of many Indigenous peoples, including the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Ojibwe and Algonquin nations.
