Making With Meaning Workshop
MAKING WITH MEANING : CRAFTING A CREATIVE WARDROBE
A live, interactive workshop via Zoom for garment makers who want to bring more personal story, detail, and intention into their sewing practice.
This workshop is about looking at your handmade wardrobe differently, not just as a collection of clothes, but as a space for creativity, self-expression, and thoughtful design.
We’ll explore how to spot the overlooked moments in a project, places where you can add meaning through small details, both seen and hidden. It’s also about viewing mistakes or limitations not as problems to fix, but as invitations to make something more personal and unique.
This gathering is a space to explore, reflect, and share. You’ll see many examples from Karyn's handmade wardrobe that cover a wide range of details, techniques and design opportunities.

A community sew-along for the Merchant & Mills Weekender Bag

That’s exactly why we’re hosting a Community Sew-Along.
