This is your chance to gather a group of upto 6 friends together and pre-book a Custom Studio Workshop Experience for 2025 at our special end-of-year pricing!

Let us know when you'd like to come for your Sprucedale Studio Session at our General Store and we'll schedule a tailored crafting experience for you and some friends.

Use a sewing machine and thread to sculpt a beautiful cotton rope bowl or basket. You'll get lost in the meditative process and be inspired by the endless possibilities of colour and design. We'll be sharing tips for adding embellishments, colour blocking and handles to your rope vessel. This is a great way to practice and improve your machine handling skills, too!

This sewing class is one 3-hour session.
A skein of rope is included for this class and particpants may purchase thread ahead of class at our shop, the workroom in Sprucedale.

Instructor : Karyn Valino

Prerequisite : Sewing Machine Essentials or equivalent experience. Students must know how to thread and do basic stitching on a sewing machine.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.
