This is your chance to gather a group of upto 6 friends together and pre-book a Custom Studio Workshop Experience for 2025 at our special end-of-year pricing!

Let us know when you'd like to come for your Sprucedale Studio Session at our General Store and we'll schedule a tailored crafting experience for you and some friends.

Quilting will never be the same once you learn to longarm with the Bernina Q24. This class will teach you how to properly prepare and load your quilt, how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine and all the basics of getting started. The possibilities are endless once you try your hand at both free motion and pantograph quilting. Students who successfully complete this class will be certified to rent the Bernina Q24 Longarm for their own projects.

Students must choose one of three discounted prepaid rental options with their class registration. Prepaid rental time is required in order for students to practice their skills on their own projects. Choose from 3 hours, 8 hours or 14 hours.

This beginner longarm day camp is one session with a half hour break.

The class is structured to include the added rental time to encourage students who are committed to learning to use the long arm and plan to book time for their own projects. Learn more about renting the workroom's Bernina Q24 Longarm here.

Instructor : Karyn Valino

Prerequisite : This class is for intermediate sewers who are already comfortable with a regular sewing machine.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.
