Shopping by Appointment at the workroom Sprucedale
Whether you’re working odd hours, visiting the area on a weekend getaway, or simply hoping for a quieter moment to browse, we want to make space for you.
That’s why we offer shopping by appointment at the workroom Sprucedale.
What is it?
It’s a private visit to our studio shop in Sprucedale, outside of our regular hours, where you can explore our curated collection of fabrics, patterns, notions, and creative tools at your own pace. Whether you're looking for something specific or just want to soak up some inspiration, we’re happy to open our doors just for you.
Who is it for?
-
Makers passing through town
-
Those with work hours that don’t align with our regular shop times
-
Anyone who’d like a quieter, more personal shopping experience
-
Folks needing a bit of extra support choosing materials for a project
- Groups of friends planning a sewing road trip or handmade getaway
Yes, that last one happens more often than you’d think and we love it! Whether you’re coming from a nearby town or making a day of it from the city, we’re honoured to be part of your creative adventure.
How to Book
You can request an appointment by emailing us shop [at] theworkroom.ca. Just let us know what works for you, and we’ll do our best to make it work.
If you'd prefer something more spontaneous, don’t hesitate to reach out - if we’re around, we’re always happy to say yes on short notice when we can.
Why We Offer This
At the workroom, we believe in meeting people where they are creatively, emotionally, and yes, even logistically. Offering shopping by appointment is one more way we try to make our space inclusive, thoughtful, and welcoming.
We love this quiet time to connect, talk projects, and help you find what you need. Whether it’s fabric for your next handmade garment, a thread colour match, or the perfect tool to add to your kit.
