Tailored Shirt Workshop : with Ron Collins : starts Tuesday October 15, 10am-5pm for 4 consecutive days
Join our special guest instructor, Ron Collins, for his Tailored Shirt Workshop.
Learn and apply the latest construction techniques not found in pattern instructions and understand how to modify your pattern for a desired fit. Ron will guide you through adjustments for a narrow or sloping shoulder, high or low bust, large upper arm, sway back, broad or narrow back and much more.
Grasp ready-to-wear tricks on half bulk collar points and collar bands, clean edge facings, non-stretch out bias cut and double yolks, one piece sleeve plackets, cool seam finishes, button holes and professional results working with fusible interfacings and other stylish details.
This garment class meets each day for four consecutive days, beginning Tuesday October 15, 16, 17 & 18.
There will be a one hour lunch break each day.
Instructor : Ron Collins
Prerequisite : Previous garment making experience required for this intensive apparel workshop.
Registration fee includes workshop. Pattern and supplies to be purchased seperately.

Our bright Parkdale Studio is equipped with Bernina sewing machines and sergers, large cutting tables and ironing stations. Students will also learn to use specialty presser feet, essential sewing machine features as required for their class project.
