An oversized coat or jacket with a rolled collar and turn back cuffs. Coat has inseam pockets and jacket has patch pockets. Choose to make either lined or unlined.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.

Skill level : Intermediate.

Suitable fabrics : Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twill or canvas. A heaver weight cloth with result in a more structured coat. 

For linings we'd suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise - cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.

*If you are a curvy size 18, we would recommend selecting the UK 18-28 size range.

  • 4 x 2cm/3/4" buttons (jacket)
  • 6 x 2cm/3/4" buttons (coat)
  • 0.25m/1/4yd 0.5CM/1/4" seam tape
  • 1.4m/1 1/2yd interfacing (coat)*
  • 0.8m/1yd interfacing (jacket)*

*Interfacing not needed if using oilskin.
