The #57D Patchwork Foot is one of the Bernina Accesories of the Month for May and June. Automtically save 25% on all Patchwork Feet #37, 37D, 57 , 57D, 97 and 97D.
For patchwork projects with seam allowances of 3 mm (1⁄8”) or 6 mm (¼”).
- Three notches on the side for precise guidance
- The guide allows perfectly straight lines to be sewn
- For 9 mm machines with BERNINA Dual Feed system
Patchwork Foot with Guide #57D differs from Patchwork Foot #37 only in that it has a built-in seam guide along the right edge of the foot. It is therefore particularly suitable for patchwork projects with 1/4” (6mm) or 1/8” (3mm) seam allowances.
Other precision sewing techniques requiring a perfectly straight seam also benefit from the use of Patchwork Foot with Guide #57D. Here, the edge guide is placed directly against the fabric edge or seam line to yield straight spacings and lines when sewing.
