Bernina : New Style : #2 Overlock Foot
Overlock foot #2 is ideal for producing serged seams and hems using a sewing machine. It is especially well suited for neatening simple seams.
The stitches are formed over the pin on the inside edge of the foot, giving them an additional amount of thread. This prevents the fabric from bunching up and produces a flat, elastic seam. The Overlock foot can also be used to sew high quality hems, waistbands and overlock seams on knit fabrics.
This new style foot is compatible with 5.5mm and 9mm* Bernina machines including: 300 series, Activa, Virtuosa, Aurora, and Artista. Please email us through our Contacts page if you are unsure whether this foot will fit your Bernina.
*When using foot #2 with a 9mm machine the sewing width will be restricted to 5.5mm.
The Overlock foot is also available in version #2A for a 9mm machine.
