Pop Up Maker Market : Krystal Zorzi
We are continuing our Pop Up Maker Market series with this month's maker, Krystal Zorzi. Krystal is a long time workroom community member who also took part in our Heart Crafted event in February. We learned early on that Krystal is not only a talented and avid sewist, but is also an accomplished artist. We have always loved her custom watercolour house portraits, so we were absolutely blown away when she surprised us with a portrait of the workroom building for our February Heart Crafted event. Now you can also own a print of this wonderfully detailed rendition of the workroom's home on Queen Street West. For this Pop Up Preorder, she has created three special prints inspired by the workroom and sewing, along with a sweet patchwork block greeting card.

Welcome to The Button Dept.
Back in 2013, I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to purchase about thirty large boxes of vintage buttons from my friend, Paul at Smash Salvage. After peeking into just a few of the boxes, I knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to share an endless supply of amazing vintage buttons with our community. The Button Dept. was born.
the workroom Gift Cards
Are you hoping to receive or give workroom Gift Cards this year? Everything is electronic and automated but we wanted to let you know of a couple special features - the first is you can choose one of six graphic messages to include with the gift card. The second feature is the gift card can be emailed directly to the recipient AND you can schedule the date to send it. That's right, you can buy a gift card today to email on December 25th (or any other day) automatically, if you like.
Merchant & Mills Fabric
We've just received more Merchant & Mills fabric and they are all very special. Tottorri Cross comes in five colours and is a Japanese cotton seersucker with a beautiful texture and tiny printed crosses on it.
