Canadian Designed + Produced Goods
the workroom has a long history of cheering on Canadian designed + produced goods. Our support and shout outs are an ever evolving aspect of our shop practices.
Deliveries arrive on foot from the neighbourhood, are dropped off while visiting the city, or by post from across the country. We look forward to seeking unique products, originating close to home.
Did you know that the workroom was the first shop to put Uppercase Magazine and Kiriki Press Embroidery Kits on our shelves?... and still do!

Steingut Pottery for Gift Giving Season!
Keep gift giving down to Earth this Winter! We've created a fun little Pop-Up Maker Market in partnership with Toronto's Steingut Pottery!
Anne Koehler of Steingut Pottery has been a part of our Pop-Up Maker Markets over the years and works with unique glazes, including the Wood Ash (brown) exterior glaze made from tree ash from a 200 year old red oak formerly on their property.
