Sprucedale maker space/shop for fabric, notions, patterns, books, sewing machines, inspiration, and project cheerleading.
We acknowledge and deeply appreciate that the land on which we now live and operate in Sprucedale, within the Almaguin Highlands, is part of the traditional and ancestral territory of many Indigenous peoples, including the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Ojibwe and Algonquin nations.
This region is situated within the lands covered by the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850, and remains home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
We honour the enduring presence and stewardship of Indigenous communities - past, present, and future and we commit to ongoing learning, respect, and relationship with the land and its original caretakers.
