European laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness.
The 185 dress weight linen is our go-to linen for all dress making. It is a great match for all of the Merchant & Mills patterns, dresses, tops and loose fitting trousers. It is suitable for the all of the patterns in the Merchant & Mills Workbook, too.
This linen also works well for lighter curtains for a casual less refined look.
It is produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric.

One of our favourite corners of The Button Dept. is the collection of unique glass buttons, everything from clear vintage-inspired styles to tiny hand-painted florals. These delicate pieces are like little works of art that add something truly special to any project.
We especially love using the hand-painted ones, but we know they’re fragile. We wanted to better understand how they hold up when exposed to water and gentle detergent.
A flexible, ongoing fabric subscription where you can choose from any of our beautifully curated solid bundles OR yardage. Kona Edit is purely about the fabric and it puts you in charge of what your monthly or bi-monthly delivery looks like.
