· For the small triangles:
7–13 fat quarters
(the class sample used 13 fat quarters to get a very scrappy look but you can use as few as 7 for a more repeated look)*
· For the large background triangles:
#1 (accent): 1 fat quarter*
#2 & #3: 0.5 metre each*
· For the binding: 0.5 metre*
· For the backing: 1.5 metres + 0.5 metres + 1 fat quarter (this will create a pieced backing)

· thread to match background fabric or a neutral that will blend with everything*
· straight pins*
· fabric scissors*
· rotary ruler* (6"×24" is the best size for this project)
· rotary cutter*
· cutting mat*
· marking pencil*
