The perfect pack for weekend adventures. The Weekender comes in two sizes, small and large. The large being more of a weekend trip bag and the small could be more of an everyday or overnight option. Both options have a lining with a pocket inside and a pocket outside. 

Merchant & Mills have chosen to use water repellent zips for this make, which are included in 2 different colours in the Weekender Hardware Kit, sand and fern, each with the option of a matching g hook. You can also just use standard zips. 

Laser cut leather tabs are included in the kit or if you happen to have leather scraps at home a template has been included in the pattern for you to use. 

All seam allowances are 1cm unless otherwise stated.

Skill level: intermediate.

Fabric Suggestions:

• Self - oilskin, dry oilskin, mid-heavy weight cotton canvas or drill, mid-heavy weight denim (8-14oz).
• Base - heavyweight canvas, duck canvas, expedition dry oilskin, oilskin.
• Lining - mid weight cottons and denim, barrier lining (if using dry oilskin, or oilskin).

• Matching thread.
• 2x 2.5cm/1" G hooks.
• 2x Leather tabs or leather remnant (10cm/4" x 6cm/22")
• 2x Rivets.

• 272cm/107" x 30mm/14" webbing
• 70cm/27.5" x 25mm/1" webbing.
• 1x 22cm/10" finished zip & 1x 70cm/38" finished zip OR 2x continuous zips, 1 cut to 29cm/11.5" & 1 cut to 74cm/29".

Small Holdall:

• 218cm/86" x 30mm/14" webbing
• 64cm/25.5" x 25mm/14" webbing
• 1x 20cm/8" finished zip & 1x 52cm/20" finished zip OR 2x continuous zips, 1 cut to 24cm/9.5" & 1 cut to 65cm/22".
