Community Sew-Along : Tilda Flower Branch Embroidery Quilt

Join us for an 8-week guided sew-along where we'll make Tilda's stunning Flower Branch Embroidery Quilt together with the support of live Zoom sessions, an engaged community, and the workroom Notes to guide every cut.

This is more than a sew-along. We've done the deep pattern work so you don't have to. the workroom Notes for the Flower Branch Embroidery Quilt are your secret weapon for this project - a purpose-built efficiency guide that reorganizes the entire construction process. We've analyzed every square across all nine units, mapped the most efficient cutting and strip-piecing sequences, and structured the whole project so you spend more time at your sewing machine and less time second-guessing at the cutting mat. The Tilda pattern asks you to place 2,268 squares individually. Our method reduces that to a series of strip cuts and chain piecing - saving approximately 50% of construction time.

How the Sew-Along Works

• Four live Zoom sessions over 8 weeks, every two weeks on Monday evenings
• Each session has a clear focus so you always know what to sew next
• You're welcome to sew, listen, ask questions, or simply be in the room
• Progress will look different for everyone and that's expected
• All sessions are recorded and available for replay
• Between sessions you'll share progress, questions, and tips in our community space

Session Schedule

• Session 1 - June 8: Kick off - reviewing the workroom NOTES : fabric prep, cutting station setup, strip sets
• Session 2 - June 22: Unit 1 assembly together - 
• Session 3 - July 13: Check in - units 2–6, troubleshooting, momentum
• Session 4 - July 27: Finishing - joining all 9 units, backing, binding, next steps
