Learn to sew this essential boxy top and dress pattern by Elizabeth Suzanne. An effortless look for everyone, Georgia Tee and Dress is a perfect introduction to garment sewing. Techniques learned include using a garment sewing pattern, hemming, topstitching, sewing in the round, and inserting a bias binding.  Between the tee, dress or midi length options, and the numerous woven fabric possibilities, you’ll want to make yourself a whole collection of Georgias!

Prerequisite: We recommend our beginner sewing class, Sewing Machine Essentials or equivalent experience. Students should know how to thread a sewing machine to take this class.

This pattern is available as a digital download PDF only, available for purchase through elizabethsuzann.com. Students must come to class with their pattern ready: either as a large scale print, or printed at home and fully taped together prior to class.

Please note: As we all sew at an individual pace, projects are not always completed during class hours. Class participants have complimentary access to our Parkdale Studio space during Sew By The Hour times until their workshop project is completed.

This class is two 3-hour sessions that meets each Monday May 6 & 13.

Instructor : Leo Schlanger
