The Little Bird quilt pattern makes a perfect baby quilt or shower gift. Fat eighth-friendly, this quilt uses a combination of simple patchwork, curve templates, and appliqué. By changing up the colours you can create a robin, a blue jay, a sparrow, even a chickadee!

Cover quilt uses "Pivot" fabrics by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Ruby Star Society

- 38" x 38" baby quilt

- skill level: intermediate

- 12 page printed pattern booklet

- includes printed templates for curves and eyes, plus piece markers

Though the skill level is intermediate, several people have said that this was a great project for their first attempt at sewing curves.

Fabric requirements

- top, 7 fat eighths, plus various scraps 3 1/2” square for eyes

- background - 1 2/3 yards

- backing - 1 1/4 yards

- batting - 1 1/4 yards

- binding - 1/2 yard
