Made in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Hook Line & Tinker hand-crafted embroidery kits are produced in small batches in their home-based studio. Each piece of preprinted, 100% cotton fabric is cut by hand. The limited colour palette and use of recurring motifs is purposeful - finished hoops hang well as mix-and-match groupings and tell a cohesive story within a theme. Some patterns are easy-peasy first time friendly, others are for ambitious beginners. But all allow for creativity, experimentation, and of course...calm.

Feeling pretty chuffed about this Puffin! A bold, tonal palette of 3 bold colours features a sampler combination of satin, link, back stitch, chain, and French knots. Designed in our signature modern, Scandi / Nordic inspired folk style.

The Puffin kit includes:

pre-printed pattern on unbleached cotton fabric
15cm (6”) embroidery hoop
embroidery floss (3 full skeins)

the workroom is a place for people to make, learn and share.

Sprucedale maker space/shop for fabric, notions, patterns, books, sewing machines, inspiration, and project cheerleading.

We acknowledge and deeply appreciate that the land on which we now live and operate in Sprucedale, within the Almaguin Highlands, is part of the traditional and ancestral territory of many Indigenous peoples, including the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Ojibwe and Algonquin nations.
