We don’t want to be too sappy, but we’re pretty lucky… We’ve had such a positive response from our community about our new studio. It’s been great to hear everyone be so excited about the new space, and for all your encouragement about the workroom’s growth. We’re so glad to have your support!

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new studio, let us take you on a virtual tour! The space is nice, and big! We’ve kept our classes the same size, because we know that smaller classes work for our students and our teachers. But, the space will allow us to have bigger classes and events on special occasions. Over the summer, we hosted the first Sewing Date in the studio, a full day of social sewing. It was fun to work alongside so many ladies and their projects! We also had a wonderful week with Lizzy House a month ago. The studio is also a great space for our dyeing classes, since it gives us more freedom to make a mess! (As a result, we’ve just added a new dyeing class! And, there’s another one in the works!)

The workroom studio has also helped us realize a longstanding dream, which is to have a longarm sewing machine of our own. Our new Bernina Q24 holds court in the north east corner of the studio and she is a beauty! Our Beginner Longarm graduates are already making use of the Q24 tackle their large quilt projects. The results are amazing!

We can’t wait to see all the new and wonderful things that come out of our new space.
