Zippered pouches come in many styles and sizes. In this class, we’ll make two different styles while learning to use the zipper foot. We’ll make these pouches with a lining so they’ll be cute inside and out. We’ll discuss how to re-size and alter the patterns so you can make a pencil case, a travel case and more. You’ll quickly be zipping up everything in sight.

This sewing class is one 3-hour session.

Instructor : Karyn Valino

Prerequisite : We recommend our beginner sewing class, Sewing Machine Essentials or equivalent experience. Students should know how to thread a sewing machine to take this class.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.
