THE WORKROOM PARKDALE : This workshop is scheduled to take place in our new studio at 207 Cowan Avenue, Unit A. We can't wait to welcome you there!

Advance your skillset by sewing a two-compartment, lined and clean finished zippered pouch!
Learn two techniques for installing a zipper: a classic pouch closure and a welt zip pocket.
This class will teach you the basics of accessory construction and offer tips for tidy, professional finishing.

Prerequisite: We recommend our beginner sewing class, Sewing Machine Essentials or equivalent recent experience. Students should know how to thread a sewing machine to take this class.

This sewing class is one 4-hour session.

Instructor : Leo Schlanger

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.

Our bright Parkdale Studio is equipped with Bernina sewing machines and sergers, large cutting tables and ironing stations. Students will also learn to use specialty presser feet, essential sewing machine features as required for their class project.
