Learn how to use fibre reactive dyes and create your own set of dyed fat quarters, both solid and patterned. Fibre reactive dyes are easy, safe and non-toxic dyes that work especially well on cotton. In this class we will use the direct application method and explore basic colour theory to learn how to mix dyes to create an endless palette of colours. Some basic surface design techniques will also be explored, meaning you could develop a collection of fat quarters in a specific colourway - perfect for your next quilt project!

This dyeing class is one 3-hour session
