The Flynn jacket is a loose-fitting jacket designed for woven fabrics. With two different styles, it is the perfect layering piece for autumn and winter. Flynn features a wrap around collar, a high-low hem and in-seam pockets. All seams are finished with bias binding, for a beautiful and high-end finish. The Flynn jacket can be worn open, or closed discreetly with a hook and eye.

Illustrated instruction booklet guides makers through the making process, from selecting fabric, cutting the garment correctly, achieving a beautiful finish and everything in between - ensuring that nothing is left up to guess work and makers will feel supported and guided through the process of making the garment.

Skill level: Advanced Beginner ready for new challenges.
Through careful drafting and beautiful finishing techniques, this pattern will have makers feeling very proud of both the inside and outside of the jacket. It is a great entry level jacket as it does not require lining.

Sizes: 10 sizes included in the pattern (A - J, which equates to US sizes 2-20).

Suggested Fabrics: bottom-weight fabrics such as: denim, cottons like canvas, duckcloth and drill, and heavyweight linens.

Additional Supplies:

  • Coordinating thread
  • 6 - 10m (6.5 -11 yds) x 25mm (1in) single-fold bias tape OR 1m (1 yd) of lightweight cotton fabric to make your own. 
  • Optional : 1 x small hook and eye
