Compositions is another skill in our Improv Hand Work series. Learn to hand stitch unique patchwork through the arrangement of fabrics into conversational groups. We will apply simple principles like vertical/horizontal balance and positive/negative space to bring these conversations together in a one of a kind piece. Bring your favourite scraps or pick one of our custom scrap bundles. 

This hand work class is one 3-hour session.

Instructor : Carolanne Graham

Prerequisite : None! This class will focus on stitching by hand and no previous experience is required.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.
