Herringbone Patchwork : Tuesday October 3, 5:30pm-8:30pm

$90.00 CAD

THE WORKROOM PARKDALE : This workshop is scheduled to take place in our new studio at 207 Cowan Avenue, Unit A. We can't wait to welcome you there!

Decorative brick garden paths are the inspiration for Herringbone Patchwork. Students will learn how to master “partial seam” construction. Two different designs using this unique, skill-building technique will be explored – an easy, pinwheel-style block and the woven-look Herringbone. This gorgeous patchwork is an ideal project for using 2 1/2” pre-cut strips, and is also a lovely way to use some of your favourite scraps.

This patchwork technique class is one 3-hour session

Instructor : Johanna Masko

Prerequisite : We recommend our beginner sewing class, Sewing Machine Essentials or equivalent experience. Students should know how to thread a sewing machine to take this class.
