Join our special guest instructor, Ron Collins, for his Designer Seam and Hem Finishes workshop.
Create 17 reference samples in this information-packed class! 

Spend the day sewing up a total of 12 different seam finishes, including seven non-serged ones like; Hong Kong, Bound, Flat Fell, and French, along with a great way to finish off underlined pants with a Double French Seam. Also learn how to make continuous bias tape for some of these great seams. 
Plus, sew a fake flat fell seam, reinforced seam, and a finished pressed open seam as well. 
Make an unbelievable dart and pleat using one thread on your sewing machine.  Get the hands on know-how of doing a mitered hem and a slick 1/4" curved hem.

This technique class is one session.
There will be a one hour lunch break each day.

Prerequisite : Previous garment making experience required for this apparel technique workshop.

Registration fee includes class and kit.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.
