THE WORKROOM PARKDALE : This workshop is scheduled to take place in our new studio at 207 Cowan Avenue, Unit A. We can't wait to welcome you there!

Classic Darning is part of our mending series that will give you the skills you need to repair and reinforce your favourite garments. A mending technique that can be worked on any fabric, darning is the introduction of new threads to reinforce worn or broken ones. With this skill you can both discreetly repair a hardworking garment or add more history to an already treasured piece. 
                                                                                                                             
This hand work mending class is one 3-hour session.

Instructor : Carolanne Graham

Prerequisite : None! You will learn simple hand stitch mending techniques that require no previous experience.

CLASS SUPPLIES : Class fees include workshop registration and in-shop use of sewing machines and irons. All supplies, materials and personal tools are to be provided by each student, unless otherwise specified. Upon enrolment, a Class Confirmation and Supply List will be emailed by our shop team so that these items can be gathered or purchased prior to the class. We welcome a visit, call or email with any questions regarding this workshop and the required supplies prior to registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.
