Organic Cotton (GOTS Certified) 2-ply Embroidery Thread with a smooth surface and medium twist, this thread is perfect for all kinds of hand embroidery, Sashiko stitching, mending, cross stitch, edge stitching or crazy quilt embroidery.

Can be used as a single thread for fine work or used double to create heavier lines.

Botanica Tinctoria, a collaborative effort created by designer Rachel MacHenry, works to revive historical practices while implementing current ecological ideas. Their cotton, linen and silk embroidery threads are dyed using an environmentally safe closed loop process. Their sustainable and regenerative sources for dyestuffs are supported through collaborative efforts with BioDye India, village women's groups and local farmers to create a beautiful palette of colours for crafters and designers to create with.
